Another great meeting with the Holistic Moms Network of the San Fernando Valley!Join us and meet other holistic parents to support your parenting style!TOPIC: Don't Stress and Enjoy the Mess! (A workshop on feeding your baby and toddler.) How much do I give him? How many ounces did she really eat? What kind of cereal should I buy? Oh no! Is that a reaction to her dinner or does she just have strawberry on her face? Who knew that eating could be so stressful! Let Anni Daulter shed some light on this heavy subject. All of Anni?s projects relate to conscious family living, and all support her vision of teaching and supporting families in their efforts to live more simple and sustainable lives.Anni learned how to consciously cook at a Zen Buddhist retreat called, Tassajara, in which she spent many hours learning from Buddhist monks the special quality of mindfulness in every aspect of life. Her vision of consciousness is about maintaining her spiritual quest, while balancing the complexities of parenting, working and creating. She seeks to help lead a consciousness shift in the areas of nutrition, pregnancy and parenting. With her knowledge and passion about child well being combined with her love of healthy but tasty cooking, Anni wrote her first book called, Organically Raised: Conscious Cooking for Babies & Toddlers. Anni has two other projects in development called Popsicle Craze that gives parents 50 healthy organic and delicious popsicle recipes for their little ones and The Organic Family Cookbook.Meetings are held at :4032 Whitsett Ave. Studio City, CA 91604 - at the 36th Church of Christ, Scientist (parking lot off of Valleyheart Drive)When:Monday August 9th at 7pmFor more info, contact:Yvonne at HMN.sfvalley (AT) gmail (DOT) comor visit www.holisticmoms.org
