schedule?

What was your schedule like when you brought your LO's home? Mine are 7 weeks and I am trying to get them on a schedule but its been craziness since we got home and we are basically just surviving. It was easier when we first got home and had tons of help but now its mostly just me with them during the day and occasionally my neighbor or mom helps. The big feeding question....did you feed them together or seperate? I am BF and supplementing(low milk supply). TIA

If you can get them on the same schedule and feed at the same time, it will make these a lot easier for you!!!

Unfortunately, when they came home the NICU wanted one on 4 hours and one on 3 hours.  After 2 weeks of pure torture, I begged my ped. to let me know put them on the same schedule.  So, we fed them every 3 hours.

For 3 months I couldn't feed them at the same time though.  One has reflux and had to be held upright while fed.  The other had colic and he fought the bottle and swallowed so much air while eating.

Now that I feed them at the same time in their bouncy chairs, my life got a heck of a lot easier.

I don't think that a schedule is necessary at such a young age. I focused more on routine. I BF the girls on demand and made sure they didn't go more than 3 hours without feeding. I fed them at the same time. I would try to get them to sleep at the same time too. I wouldn't watch the clock to determine what was next. I think I may be the minority though. In regards to supplementing, try to nurse as much as you can. Your milk supply should catch up if the babies are put to the breast as much as possible. If you can get your supply up and drop supplementing, your life will be SO much easier. GL!
