GERD and REFLUX for mom and preemie

Would love some feedback on anyone who has GERD, what can you eat? What did you do? Has pregnancy or birth made it worse? My preemie has reflux issues and because I just got told on Monday after a trip to the ER that my reflux has turned into GERD can feel my babies pain. Would love some tips for the baby as well.

    I don't know if there is anything specific to preemies, but my son had reflux and the ped put him on Zantac for several months. It helped a lot but because they grow so quickly, you have to stay on top of it and make sure the dosage is adjusted accordingly. A couple other things that help -- hold the baby upright for 15-30 minutes after feeding and elevate the crib mattress so he or she sleeps on an incline.
