Total whine

Warning - this is a total whine session from a super pregnant lady that is dying in the 105+ heat.

I am SO tired.  And so over being uncomfortable.  I think the heat is really getting to me physically which is keeping in doors pretty much all the time.  And, being shut up inside is making me go crazy.

I want to be out running errands, walking the dogs, and just away from the house as I know I will be trapped there once Kate gets here (totally ok with that - just not ok with being trapped there now).

I know that it isn't good for me to be out as I really start to feel sick and start contracting if I am on my feet in the heat for more than 15-20 minutes but I am going crazy.

Not to mention that I am no longer sleeping.  I cannot even drug myself to sleep anymore.  It just isn't happening.  So, I am totally exhausted.

These next 2.5 weeks need to hurry up and be done with.  I'm ready for my prize!

I'm sorry you are feeling this way, totally understandable.  Try and go places that are air conditioned where you can sit down.  Do you have a book store near you?  Maybe you can grab a coffee/dessert, grab a book/magazines and read with your feet up a the book store?  At least this would be a change of scenery.  Hang in there!

I so wish I could - but literally being on my feet (inside or outside) makes me feel horrible. 

ALY - I like the book store idea.  We have a B&N close by and I love to read.  It would be nice to have a change of scenery when reading so I may have to do that this week.

Whine away!  You have every right to feel that way.  You are on the final weeks of your pregnancy.  The heat sucks when you are pregnant and being couped up sucks too.  I like the bookstore idea.  Can you go for a treat afterward?  Or what about a movie?  Just anything to break up the monotonous day.

I am so sorry that the heat is keeping you cooped up. Does it cool down at night at all? Maybe when your dh gets home he can make sure the AC in the car is nice and cool and then take you out to dinner or to a movie. you deserve an outing!

((hugs)) I can only imagine how frustrating that is. It is roasting though. I barely went out all weekend.

I'd be whinning too.  I thought high 80's/low 90's with high humidity over the last few weeks was bad in Milwaukee but I know that's nothing compared to Houston. 

Do you have access to a pool?  Preferrably a cool lap pool?

perfect time for a middle of the day movie!  That's one guilty pleasure hard to do with a baby!
