PSA: Once Upon A Child SALE today

Not sure if this is at all locations today, but it is worth checking out.  All of their clearance items that can fit into a plastic bag are $10!!!

The clerk told me my total before the discount- it would have been $116.35.  I can't even imagine if I had bought all of it from the original retailers! 

I will post a pic in a bit of everything I got- but it's a $hitload!!!  Also not sure if it is also going on tomorrow.  It said "today only" but who knows, that might be their ploy.

Awesome score!!!!  OUAC's are all independently owned so the dates might vary on the sales.  But there's usually one at the end of July and one right around the end of February.  Ours also has a stamp card where they stamp for every $5 you spend (or maybe it's $10, I can't remember) and then you get a 50% discount on your entire purchase when you fill it up.

I would never sell TO them, because they only give you pennies on the dollar (I had a $35 toy, still in the box, and they offered me $6 for it!) but I buy from them quite a bit.

Fro the ones in Indy the sale was two weeks ago.  If I hadn't gotten so many hand me down clothes I would have went to it.

How are they on getting money for clothes.  I have a bag full of clothes that I need to do something with but haven't decided if I'm taking them there or good will.  I went by a good will the other day and they sort the kids clothes by color not size which I understand more for adult sizes but for kid sizes it makes it almost impossible to find anything.  A 5T shirt was next to a 0-3 month shirt. Ugh!

I took 3 of the huge rubbermaid totes of dd's infant clothes in there and they wanted to give me $14.00 for all 3 tubs.  I walked right back out with my clothes.  TOTALLY not worth it!  I bundled them into lots (summer 0-3 months girl clothes, for example) and sold them on ebay.  For those 3 totes I made well over $100.

Ughhh..so bummed, I never heard of this store and just went on their site to see where the closest locations are to me...But they are all in North Florida boo....almost 2.5 hours away from me....So sad

LOL..there you go!!!! Especially with all my free time Apparently there is one opening in Miami soon...but that is still an hour a way from me....
