Trouble TTC

RE office question because I am bored

Does your RE have HPTs sitting on the counter at the receptionist desk?  My RE does along with panty liners.  Confused

I am curious if they are there for the taking or if they are used in the practice.  I can't imagine they would have patients POAS when they do b/w to check for pregnancy.  I keep meaning to ask but I am embarrassed to admit that I would be a peeaholic if I could get HPTs for free.

Just wondering...

  • There's nothing on the counter at my RE's office except business cards.  I do have to supply a urine sample at each appointment, even though they are also running b/w.  They also give me HPTs every time I go in there.

My RE's ofice doesn't have them.  I will say, I might actually use HPTs if they were free!

  • Nope, business cards and sign in sheet, that's it.

  • They definitely don't!  Just ask next time you're there, since that's probably what they're there for!  Just like lollipops at the bank!
  • Nope, no peesticks.  Just sandlewood scented diffuser sticks in little glass bowels everywhere throughout the office.  I wonder if they know how much I hate that smell... it smells like failure...

  • Nope! They're not on the counter, but I do know they have HPTs there because when I got my + HPT last cycle they had me take one of there's just to ease my mind before I went in for the b/w.

  • That's an odd place to keep them!  My office has pads and tampons in the changing rooms and bathrooms, but no HPTs anywhere that I have seen.
