I used namebubbles.com labels for my older daughter at daycare, but am wondering what to do about the twins when they start in September. Even though they will be having exactly the same thing, it would be best to get them their own labels and label everything individually, right? As far as labeling the clothes, it doesn't matter if that shirt is really Penelope's, just as long as it finds its way back to my house. Or should I get some just last name stickers, too?
Re: Daycare MoMs
I just put their initials (A&L) on their stuff. This way it didnt matter if Ava or Lauryn ended up using or wearing it. The only thing I put Ava's name on was her lovey. Lauryn doesnt use it. And I didnt get labels, I just wrote the initials on the tags.
So yeah, doing last name or initials would work.
I have a question. Mine will be in daycare. Do you have to get 2 of everything. Like 2 seperate diaper bags or can you just get one big bag and take it for them to share? My mom said that 30 years ago, you needed 2. I just need to know how much double of stuff we will need! Thanks! Also thanks for the name bubbles website, I had never heard of it, and it is soooo cute!
I don't think we'll be using diaper bags. At our daycare, they each have a cubby that you keep stuff in, so I will stock each of those with back up clothes and diapers. With my daughter, we brought in a cooler bag/lunch bag for her bottles and food, so I guess I'll have to bring in two of those, simply because it all won't fit in one.
I went to the namebubbles site just now and had forgotten how expensive they are ($20/set). So, I'm looking at etsy now and it is way cheaper. You don't really need the 90+ that namebubbles does. Maybe 20-30.
