Lining & Follie size

What is the min. lining size they like you to have? Also, how big do the follies usually have to be before they want you to trigger?

I went for my 1st monitering appt this morning and this is the results:

Lining = 6.4

Right Ovary =

2  12mm follies , an 11 mm, a 10 mm and 14 follies that were under 10

Left=

15 mm, 13 mm, 12 mm and 10 under 10mm

 

Thoughts? I have to wait until they call back at 3 to find out when to trigger or if I have to let them mature a bit more.

My RE likes them to be 20-21 before triggering. Your don't sound mature enough yet. Lining should be 7 and above. That will thicken up a lot each day until you O (or should) and since you don't sound like your follies are mature yet, your lining probably won't be an issue. What day are you?

You probably have a few more days before they'll let you trigger.  Lining should be above 7 so you're close which is good.  My RE wants to see the follie's above 18mm before letting me trigger.  The 15mm one is promising:)  Good luck over the next few days!

 I'm only on day 10. This is my first cycle on clomid so I do not know what to expect. During my unmedicated cycles, I normally O around CD20.

That sounds like a good response! My guess is that they will have you come in again to make sure that your follies get a bit bigger Like Megan said, your 15mm sounds promising! Good luck to you!

 Thanks ! So, in your opinion,  do you think I would most likely trigger Mon/Tues or more like Weds/Thurs ? I assume they would have me come back on Monday ( or Tues) for another u/s .

For CD10 everything sounds good.  Like everyone else said, your follies will grow and your lining will thicken in the next few days.  Your RE will probably have you come back Mon for another u/s.
