Is May to old fashion for a MN. . . ?

DH and I were going to use it to honor my mom, her name is Maylonda. some people call her May.

I love May/Mae as a mn. It is mine and my MIL's. If we ever have a girl, it will be part of her mn.

i don't think it's too old fashioned, just a little country sounding to me... but then i think that about any first name as a middle name. if you like it, go for it. i personally love may as a nickname for margaret.

We used Mae for our dd who is 2 now....it was my DH's grandmothers middle name! We love it!
