Baby Names

oy. boy names.

This list is a little long for an effective clicky poll, but they're more fun so what the hell.  I'm sure there will more more efficient ones to come in the next THREE WEEKS!  We are struggling beyond belief w/names this time around ... so any suggestions would be fabulous.

No idea on a MN ... some 'family name' options would be: Bennett, Knox, Ridge, Michael, Elliott, Duane, James, and Alan (but who knows).  The last name is 'P__/__k'.

Thanks!

  • Holden, Logan, Hudson, Max and then Elliott, Michael, James. Lol at Ry. That's like two-thirds of a kind of bread. Stick out tongue

I don't have a clear favorite, but sometimes it just helps to write/type them out...

    Holden Michael
    Logan Elliott
    Max Elliott
    Logan James
    Holden Elliott
    Hudson Elliott

  • Ry is one of the nicknames for DS, but I wouldn't use that as a given name. Ryan, Rylan, Riley are all good though. I like Blake out of the rest.

yeah, you should have seen our reaction to that text ... but it is flattering to be a drinking game for strangers, so it seems rude to ignore their wishes :)  OH, and another 'Ry' thing is 3 or the 4 babies I can think of born to people I know this year are a 'Ryan' or 'Rylan' ... so it seems like we're giving up and just joining everyone else ... only in a lazier way.

LOL at this. Too lazy to write more than two letters: )

I'll work on some suggestions. I'm thinking.

Well, we can't use Bennett as a first name w/o serious in-house Ben confusion.  Ridge began the journey on the FN list, we're totally outdoorsy/crunchy granola-ie to pull it off ... but it really flunks the 'introducing yourself in a crowded bar test' ...

"I'm Ridge"    "Rich?'"    "No, Ridge.  Like a mountain ridge"   "... ... ... What?"   "R-I-D-G-E, as in I wish my parent's had named me after a freaking Twilight character like every one else"

But I may be over-sensitive b/c that happens w/my name all the time, and it's a normal name that isn't even geographical.
