Growth u/s

So I just got back from my u/s.  First off my tech was wonderful!  She pointed out everything to me and it was really neat getting to see what everything was.  I never have had an u/s after 20 weeks and was so amazed at everything you can see.  She looked and confirmed again that I am having a girl.  My silly husband keeps saying that the u/s tech at our last u/s didn't sound too convincing that it was a girl, so we checked today just to make sure.  She even took a picture for me and its pretty cool because it is just SO OBVIOUS at this point that is girl genitalia that we are looking at.

So my fluid levels and the placenta and the baby and everything look good.  She is measuring 2 weeks behind but she is still fine in growth percentiles.  They said she is weighing 6 lbs 15 oz (Rowen weighed 5 lbs 14 oz when he was born at 37 weeks) so they think she might just be a small baby.  My Dr's appt is on Monday and he will go over everything more with me then.    The good news is they said she is really low now and she wasn't on Monday so maybe she has decided to finally drop!

Yay for all of that good news!  Did they tell you what pelvic station she was at?

Also- what did your doc say about going natural/using a tub to labor/etc?  I've been thinking about you! ;-)

Glad to hear she is looking good! And that she is indeed a girl. Hopefully she did drop and we will be meeting her soon.

Sorry it took me so long to get back on here.  I think I'm getting sick!  Yuck!  Anyways, they didn't tell me what pelvic station she is at, but I didn't ask either.  The Dr doesn't seem to thrilled with me wanting to go natural.  He said we would see how it goes but the hospital doesn't let you labor in a tub.  But I'll have my mom with me and I know that she will be great to have on my side because she will really advocate for what I want.  Its good to have someone who was there last time and really understands what happens, and it doesn't hurt that she is a nurse too!

YAY! It sounds like you had a great appointment!  I'm glad everything is okay and P decided to drop!  YAY! It won't be long now!
