Have you heard anything about us teaching?

    I think it is official because a briefing went out to principals.  There's been another turn of events for me this year.  My AP was promoted to principal of another charter and has asked me to be his reading coach there.  I am actually considering it since it's a K-12th (more elementary kids than middle/high) because I miss the elementary setting and it is a smaller school.  However, he did mention that the counselor has set up the schedule with the reading coach teaching one class.  I told him I didn't mind and it may have been a possibility anyway if I stayed at the middle/high, but they'd have to find a sub during my maternity leave.  We'll see...

    I was told today that budget conference was today and they might have us teach more than 1 class!

    My *new* principal mentioned that the RC position is scheduled for 1 class so, hopefully, they have the rest figured out and won't need me to do more than 1 if I transfer.  I miss the rapport with the kids when you have your own class, but more than 1 is going to make it impossible to fulfill all our other duties.
