Pregnant after a Loss

Follow up to Christmas cards - how I'm doing the combo...

A friend of mine owns an etsy shop (sweetprintsshop.etsy.com) and she offers front and back printing for $1.35 a card (that includes the design, the printing, the envelopes AND the shipping)... since I'm going to address the envelopes earlier than when I order the card, she's docking the price a bit since I won't need the envelopes (about 17 cents each).

She has baby announcements up on her shop, but no holiday cards yet - she did last year though, so I know they're super cute.  She also customizes for no extra charge (that I know of).  She did our Christmas card last year and a shower invite for me.

I think on one side, I'm going to do the announcement (its likely going to be the soft pink one with brown swirls around the photo) and then on the other side, I'm going to do a coordinating soft pink and brown and white Christmas card and just have us dress wintery and print the picture in sepia tone... usually I like to do a Bible verse relating to Christmas, but I'm thinking this year I might do something that says, "Baby its cold outside..." and then say something about "wishing you Christmas season filled with warmth and love" and then list our names.  Kind of cheesy wording, but I think it will flow well since its a combo.

The turnaround time to receive the order is about 5 business days after I submit the design, which I'm picking out in the next few weeks - and I'll just need to send her pictures and baby stats once the baby arrives.  So I think there will be enough time to do it all since I'll have the hard work done now.  Another friend is a photographer and I already have her booked for a newborn session in mid-November... and she'll just take about 20 minutes of pictures with our whole family and we'll likely do it in our backyard.
