Considering Lake Tahoe getaway

in Northern California Babies

DH and I mostly hangout and swim on weekend getaways. We are considering Lake Tahoe for a 3 day get away.

 Any advice :)

    It depends what you want.  North Shore is more family oriented than South, but my favorite hikes are on the south end, around Emerald Bay and Cascade Lakes/Falls.  More often than not, we tend to stay in Kings Beach or Incline Village for skiing.

    We are going in Aug or Sept so most likely there will not be any sking. This will be our trip for the weekend with out GEM.

    We are leaning toward south side just because I seem to be able to find more hotel specials.
