Since 2 days old we have been using a nipple shield, mostly due to her "disorganized suck".

This past couple of weeks she's been rejecting the shield more and more and now I think she is done with it!

The only issue now is that sometimes her latch is pretty shallow...however it seems that it is good when she is actually hungry, and shallow when she is just comfort nursing. It's something we'll have to work on for sure. But yay no more nipple shield! It was a pain to have to fiddle with when nursing in public.

Thats great! Those things were kinda a PITA for me. I was not coorindated enough to figure it out successfully in public.

Yay! That is exciting! I remember the nipple shield being such a pita..how exciting to be done with it!

You are amazing! I thought that nipple shield was impossible to use, even though I think she (and I) needed it. Congrats on yet another BF hurdle.

Woohoo! So exciting. It was such a pain to use that but M also kind of all of a sudden decided he didn't want one either. Way to go for making it this far!
