We are planning on having Isabella's 12-month photos taken this weekend and I'd like to squeeze in a few family shots, but I'm having a hard time coordinating our outfits so that they look nice together, but aren't too matchy. Anyone care to share a family photo to inspire me?
Re: PIP your family photo
We had an outfit change so we had 2 outfits:
with jeans
outfit 2
Andrew in plaid shorts
close up showing shorts pattern w/ my shirt, but the shorts didn't show up as much as I hoped because he doesn't walk yet
I think I like what we wore for Andrew's newborn pics better:
But I really liked what Jen, Jon, and Eli were wearing the other day when they came to our house:
so to sum it up, I would do plain colored solids (not black, not white) with LO in something patterned (on top) that coordinates or something plain that coordinates.
Ellie was mid yawn in this pic, but I have on a green and white shirt and jeans, DH has on a blue shirt and khakis and Ellie has on a pink/brown shirt and a khaki skirt. So we didn't really coordinate at all, but I think it still looks good.
We did jeans, white shirts, and bare feet. Mady wore a pink printed dress for some of the pictures and a jean dress for others. I think they turned out really great and we didn't overly match because my shirt was a tank. It's hard to tell because this picture is in black and white and I haven't got the rest of the pictures back from the photographer yet. Have fun taking family pictures!
We did jeans and a black top while Claire wore a bright dress. I think it turned out well.
I was not crazy about these pictures but we had grey and white and then the girls had some pink....these were taken in the fall though.
