I delivered my last child 2 yrs ago at JFK and I had a good experience. The nursing staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms and facility is clean and the food is fresh and tasty. I also had a private room which is a big bonus.
In this pregnancy, I had to be admitted to St. Peter's for a week stay. My overall experience was good. The staff was friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean but JFK is a new facility. The food was the same, but I did have a roommate.
Medical speaking both hospitals are good but St. Peter's has a level 4 NICU and is a university hospital so there is more staff to deal with. JFK is for the average delivery with no complications. Consult your DR for their preference to.
