I have been searching and searching online for daycares and am not feeling confident about my ability to find the good ones that are out there before we start touring. Anyone have any recommendations on stellar daycares in Los Angeles that take infants (I'll have to head back to work when baby is 2-3 months). We live in the N. Hollywood/Studio City area, but are willing to travel a bit for a good place. Also, any recommendations on online databases that make searches better would be great... thank you!
When we thought we were going to have to go the daycare route, I started my search with the state's community care licensing website. You can narrow your search for centers that take infants or for in home daycares.
Hi, we're starting at an in-home DC in Sherman Oaks n Sep., based largely on a good friend's rec plus our meeting, just PM me if you want that info. I too was underwhelmed by online resources when looking for infant daycare. My DH works in NoHo and could probably get some NoHo DC recs from some coworkers if you like.

those are 2 online daycare search sites that I had found. No reviews of the places, just contact info, however. Could be a start.
Also some mom friends recommended I sign up with peachhead,
https://www.peachheadfamilies.com/
which is an l.a, mom's group online. I did, & I asked there but didn't get much help, unfortunately.
sorry for the multiple responses, but
the peachhead thing is kinda confusing, it's actually a yahoo group that you have to join to see the messages... it's here--
