1st ultrasound done...2 babies...but need advice

Well...i believe it now...I`m pregnant and to make it even better there`s 2 babies in there!! YAY!

 But I have a question Baby A is much smaller than Baby B. The tech could see Baby A heartbeat but could not measure it...I`m very concerned about this...Any advice?

Baby A- approx 4mm in size

Baby B- approx 1cm in size, heartbeat 144 

I have another u/s in 10 days to check on Baby A again.

I am 7 weeks and 1 day along...I didn`t see a doctor but the tech did indicate that Baby A is small but a viable pregnancy...I see my doctor next week!

I'm not sure about the size difference, but I am sending T&Ps that Baby A catches up by your next u/s. Good luck!

At about 8 weeks, my baby A was much smaller too.  A caught up to baby B by 12 weeks.  My RE told me a strong heartbeat was more important than size at that stage since the babies are so small and the measurements are crude (he even said A is probably a girl since girls tend to grow slower).  I still worry about both babies but I think that goes with the PAIF territory.

I really hope that your baby A catches up by your next ultra sound.

i don't really have any advice that would be more knowledgeable than the ultrasound tech's--all i can say is that i'll be sending T&Ps for the little one to catch up!

No advice except the babies are so small still that measurement can be off. If your concerned I would call your doc to ask about it. Sending growing vibes to baby A and congrats x2!

GREAT news about see hbs and it being twins!   Did the doc say how far along each baby was measuring?

I just wanted to add that my Baby B was a little behind at 6 and 7 weeks (saw heartbeat but didn't measure it). At 8 weeks they were both right on track.
