Sorry I broke the wifi while DH ran home. I am retarded. My 24 hour urine just came back; I definitely have pre-eclampsia. Which I suppose I already knew. Baby girl is still breech and baby boy is cephalic, so we have no choice but to do a c-section. My doctor hasn't dropped by yet this afternoon. We are either doing the section tomorrow or Thursday. Excited but really hurting on this labor bed. I keep sleeping in the chair.
There you are! I'm not sure what all pre-e entails but, you're right on the door of having these babies. I know you're disappointed with the section, too. : (
I'd be begging for it tomorrow! GL...I'm thinking about you.
Let us know what the dr says when you see him!

I hated the feeling I had after 24 hours of no food + 11 hours of pitocin + whatever was in the spinal for the c-section. If I could go back and add one thing to my bag, it would have been fruit flavored life savers to get that crappy taste out of my mouth at the end. Just in case you wanted my 2 cents.
Thanks mommas. DH wants the section tomorrow too. I guess we'll see. I can't imagine one day will make that much of a difference for the babies and their development.....but they are still preterm and I want them to go home with us. I would rather me be sick one more day in the hopes that it makes their entrance into the world a bit easier.
I am eating (thank goodness) and seeing my coworkers (which is always nice to have friendly visitors). I super duper hate being a patient.
I had pre-e and things can change pretty quickly. My doc came into the room and said DD isn't responding, your BP is up, we are taking her now. I had an hour from the time he said go and when they delivered. I just wanted to let you know in case things change over night. Pre-e is very scary.

I'd want to wait too...to be officially 36 weeks. It's the accountant in me.
Thinking of you E&R!! Good luck, whether it be tomorrow or Thursday!

I'll be thinking of you! Though I'm curious; you had said if they were both breech that you would still attempt a vaginal delivery if possible. Did that change because of the pre-e? Or is it actually harder if A is breech and B is cephalic than if both are breech? (And if you don't have the time/energy to answer that right now, I totally understand!) Hope all goes smoothly!
Best wishes to you E&R! You did a great job carrying your LOs - very inspiring to someone like me who's been on bedrest for what feels like forever. : )

good luck!!! if it's thurs can't they move you to antepartum for a couple days... those L&D beds are awful.
