What's the name of the stroller..

that holds a child on the top part and one in the bottom?? It kind of looks like the child in the bottom is where your bag is supposed to be (but it's really a seat). I keep seeing these and wanted to look into it, they seem kind of uncomfortable if you're the kid in the bottom. But they do look compact. Does anyone know the name or have one?

 Thanks!

Re: What's the name of the stroller..

  • I think there is one called Phil and Ted. I have always thought the same about the kid on the bottom. But I know someone who has one and her older boy- I think he is about 3- LOVES to sit on the bottom. He thinks no one can see him there and it's his little hiding spot.

  • city mini SELECT - it's $499 and the extra toddler seat is $160

britax has another one but the select is best imo

also, in my research of double strollers i found that this is quite an expensive stroller UNLESS you are having twins and this is the only stroller you would use for the rest of their toddler years. just my 2 cents though.

  • lmao

gl making your selection - it took me about 1.5 months to finally decide what double would work best for us. remember to look at practicality, comfort, and price.

  • I actually do like the Select too.  I like the fact that you can use it for either one child, or both... so perfect when you have an infant and a toddler... once toddler is older, infant remains alone in stroller... only need for one stroller.  And in my case, when we go for #3 (and assuming no more twins), then I already have the stroller.  : )

  • With 2u2 coming in a few months, I've been spending about 90% of my computer time researching double strollers. The newest things are the "modular single-to-double" ones as some PP have mentioned:

    Baby Jogger City Select
    Phil & Ted's
UppaBaby Vista (with rumble seat attachment)
    Britax B-Ready

  • I also considered getting the City Select even as a single stroller and I could get the additional seat later on when we have our second child.  However, we decided to go with the City Mini because we figured we'll always need a single stroller anyway and then we'll get the City Select if we have our second child within the next couple of years.
