Pregnant after a Loss
First night in the hospital & I'm ready to leave
Just here for BP watch before the babies come Wednesday or Thursday.
The bed is so uncomfortable. 
It's an LDRP - labor, delivery, recovery, post partum floor. So they have me sleeping in a labor bed since that's all they have here. If you have never slept in one, prepare yourself. These are brand new, top of the line beds - and they even got me an eggcrate. I am not sure if it's the fact that I am carrying 10 lbs of baby and my back is already jacked up or if it's the way the beds are made. The only place I was able to get any sleep was in the chair from 2a-6a.
So ladies....if your hospital in an LDRP....just prepare to be in an uncomfortable labor bed after you deliver. Hopefully you'll be too excited and/or too tired to notice! Thank god I work here and they are getting me a regular bed.

Oh no. I hope your regular bed comes very soon. LDRP beds are not at all comfy, that's for sure. Even the regular beds are okay at best. Also, hope your BP cooperates and you have a nice relaxing day off of your couch.
Btw.... YOUR BABIES ARE COMING THIS WEEK!!!!! Can you believe it?!? It's so exciting!!

The hospital I am going to has LDRP rooms. I was told that they switch the mattress after delivery to something more comfortable. I hope that is true so that I'm not uncomfortable in the post-partum period.
Hoping that you get your regular bed and you can relax until those sweet babies arrive!!
I think Kermit sums it up pretty good! How exciting! I hope they get a new/better bed for you soon.
