that swimmers are non-absorbent and only meant to catch poo.  I put a swimmer on Addison before heading to the beach and by the time we got there her swimsuit and car seat were soaked in pee.  Next time I'll put it on her once we arrive at our destination.  Live and learn...

Wow... that's not a pleasant surprise!

My nephew was using those in his kiddie pool and... well I don't know if they were too big or what, but there was a floater in the pool. lol. Luckily it was his own kiddie pool and he was in it by himself.

Oh no!  I had already been warned of this so I'm always careful to put her swimmer on just before we get in where ever we're going.

Oh no!  I wouldn't have thought of that either, except my mom experienced something similar with my niece.  They were at a party that had a slip & slide and other water activities.  Well, my mom's FI was holding Averi on his lap and she peed all over him.  My mom took her inside to change her and FI had to change clothes as well.  A few hours later, the same exact thing happened!  Pee everywhere!  I guess my mom thought she was putting a pull-up on Averi when she changed her, but it was another swimmie diaper. 

I guess it makes sense that they woudn't absorb pee, but that is just something that doesn't cross your mind.
