Why does this have to be such a roller coaster?
Last week had beta-hcg at what I think was 15 dpo, it was only 7, they said I was going to miscarry. 2nd beta-hcg at 17 dpo, it was 10. They said yes, you are going to miscarry, we're sorry. I had bright red spotting Tuesday, Wednesday and half of Thursday. NOTHING since then, not even a pink swipe. Today's beta-hcg was 86. So now they are saying maybe I won't lose the pregnancy, but they are being very non-committal about it.
I have no clue what to think at this point. I lost my last pregnancy at 11 weeks.

Yep, that's all we can do. I'm hoping that maybe I was wrong about my ovulation date and I'm not as far along as I thought. I didn't chart this cycle.
I talked to my sister and her hcg was very low in the beginning with both of her kids, so that was reassuring.

I have to do blood work again on Thursday. I'm hoping that she will do a u/s after that. If not, I might beg her to do one just for some peace of mind. I had an appointment scheduled for Aug. 16, but we cancelled it last week when they seemed so certain I would miscarry.
