and i've read enough posts from you guys to know not to worry, and that our SW only wants us to be successful, yada, yada...but i'm still a little freaked out that she'll think my house isn't clean enough, my dog is too crazy and DH and i don't see eye to eye enough to be good parents.  it's freaky that one person has that much power in our lives right now.  i just needed to say all this (or type it) out loud to people who've been there too and not just my friends who, while totally awesome and supportive, well, haven't been there y'know?

No one could have convinced me that my house was clean enough or that we got along well enough or that she wasn't going to hate something about us. I thought I was going to be sick.

Turns out, it really was just like everyone says. It was actually easy and it was so nice to have it over with.

i think it went well, we have 2 more visits: 1 more interview since we couldn't fit everything in yesterday and then the actual home tour and then we'll see....

Our Home Study was lengthy, but really not that difficult. Try not to worry, it should be fine, and the end result is SO worth it!
