Since I started to take clomid on Friday, I didn't want to drink any alcohol at my brother's wedding yesterday. I tried switching it up a few times between drinking plain Coke and a orange/cranberry juice ( the latter resembled a sex on the beach). I was able to go the whole night without anyone saying anything except for at the after party. While a bunch of people were just sitting around in a circle, one of my male cousins flat out said " Can I ask you something? Are you pregnant because you have been acting like it all day." I'm not sure it it was just from him possibly seeing that I wasn't pouring any booze in my drinks or if he noticed I was uber bitchy ( thanks clomid). I didn't know what to say, as I was so shocked b/c he's normally very quiet. If it was a female cousin or even if he asked it with just me & DH there, I "may" have gone into some detail, but absolutely not with a bunch of strangers hanging around. To his credit, DH just said "No, but we are trying. I'll send you a FB message as soon as we are" ( the FB part was a semi-joke) I know that some people were looking at how I have gained ~30 lbs since last year ( when they saw me last) so more may have been thinking the same thing but thankfully, he was the only one that actually said anything ( to me, at least)
Other than the bitchy-ness ( long story, but I t'd off at the hotel manager for messing up our reservation), I was also having crazy hot flashes. Pair that with the way the temperature had a "real feel" of 98 due to the humidity and that we ran out of time and couldn't eat lunch, I felt like I was going to pass out several times while we were outside taking pictures.
Now a quick question regarding the s/e of clomid: Do you notice that the 1st or 2nd day you take it the s/e are worse or do they generally remain the same each day? I just want to try to prepare myself in case I become bitchy at work tomorrow.

I am sorry you had to deal with that this weekend!! I can't believe your male cousin asked you that - how personal. Maybe someone should tell him that you never ask a woman if she's pregnant - especially in front of other people!! Gosh.
As for the clomid s/e - I took mine at night and my side effects were the worst the day after my 2nd pill. I was a total B and felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin and I had a raging headache. The next 3 days were much better!! I was a little on edge, but not nearly like I had been that one day.
Hopefully, the clomid works and you will be KU soon!!!
Sorry about the comment and the s/e you are having from the Clomid. I think I was one of the lucky few that didn't really have many s/e with Clomid. I just got headaches and hot flashes at night while sleeping. I never got and mood changes.
I hope your s/e good away real soon!
Sorry you had to deal with that! People just don't know how to be respectful!
On the s/e note, I got my worst s/e on Day 3 of the pills. I was crazyass angry/biitchy and then later in the day cried for 2 hours straight over NOTHING! I also felt like I wanted to crawl out of my skin.
I really hope you feel better...Clomid is a biotch!
Oh, also I have had a butt-ton of cramping pretty much this whole cycle. My RE nurse told me that was normal.

~~Also best of luck to Kati, illinigal, and youngin!~~
I have been taking mine at night as well. So far, it just seems like that was the only day I was biitchy. Yesterday I had a killer headache, though. Luckily, some people thought my headache was due to them thinking I was hungover as everyone else had one too.
