potty training duh moment

I've been fearing having to clean Evie's potty when she finally poops in it.   My husband suggested leaving some water in her potty.   DUH!   

So that's what we do now.  Thought I would share since hopefully it will make clean up easier.

This is the biggest reason we went straight for the adult potty. I did not think I could deal with the clean up on the little one. The water is a smart idea though.

Me too! For some reason the thought of having to clean out those little potties (pee or poop) grossed me out so much that we just went straight for the ones that go on the toilet!

We used to do the potty ring, but Evie flipped out.   Her potty is convertible though, and I'm getting ready to put it up on the toilet.   She seems to have "gotten it", so maybe we can try again.

We don't even do the potty ring anymore. Colin just holds himself up.  It's SO much easier than the ring or the little potty!
