Babymoon

My husband and I are thinking a babymoon in Estes Park Colorado sounds nice.  Anyone ever been?  We haven't.

Re: Babymoon

  • I haven't but definitely do go on a babymoon, it was the best thing I ever did before Nicholas came.  I'm too tired to do one now, but I reminisce about the first one and it does me good .... LOL ... Have a great time!

  • Colorado is beautiful all over, but I've never been to Estes Park. Have a great time! I wish I could take a solo baby-moon for just a few days. That would be heaven to me right now.

  • Estes Park is just beautiful - it's the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park which is spectacular. I've been a few times since I live in NM. There is hiking, rafting (maybe not so great while pregnant!) camping, etc. While you're there, if they have one of their full moon walks in the park, I highly recommend going. A ranger takes you around an gives a talk about the animals, plants, and history of the park. I did that about ten years ago - hopefully they still run them! The town itself is a mountain town, with cute shops, cafes, and galleries. Have a wonderful time!!
