Went for non-stress monitoring yesterday

I'm old, so they want to hook me up weekly so they can check heartbeat and movement.  It went fine and I was out quick.  The nurse said it was a good sign of neurological development too.  So if any of you have to go - don't worry!

It was done in one of the l&d rooms at the hospital I will be delivering at so it was a strange preview to be lying in that bed hooked up to monitors.

I go twice a week - it's so reassuring to hear them beating away in there!

It was nice to see and hear the heartbeat.  I'm going to deliver in NJ at Riverview.

I'm glad it went well! I told DH the same thing about riverview. We have to go there fr the rest f the anatomy and fetal echo in 2 weeks, and I said we'd probably get a good preview of the unit!

I walked past the construction this time.  It's all sealed up behind plastic and it's definitely not opening this summer.  But there wasn't any smell, dust or noise.  And the nurses were just fantastic!
