Hi, I'm posting from another board but I was referred here to ask a question. I'm currently compeleting my Master's in Human Development and I'm taking a course in ADHD. I have to write a paper on whether ADHD should be identified as a learning exceptionality in Canadian schools. Right now, it's not, so the students don't receive any special education services, but they do have learning needs that differ from regularly developing kids.
I have my own ideas but I'm just looking for some opinions on what parents that have kids with ADHD are hoping for out of the school systems.
Thanks.
