Once I get AF and start a new cycle I'll start w/ femara and monitoring and likely do an IUI based on DH's SA which he'll do next week. I have all my instructions about when to call for my meds, my ultrasounds, and when to start using the OPKs. Since I have a CBEFM should I just use that or should i use the OPKs? If you used CBEFM did you make the call when you got a peak reading?
Re: CBEFM v OPK and IF treatment
I always used the jumbo pack of clearblue easy OPKs from Costco. They were they only brand that suggested you use FMU, which worked best for me. I always found them to work really well. And when I was at the KP REI clinic they suggested that brand so I kept using them.
THanks, KP recommended the clearblue easy as well. I guess a costco run is in order this week. Based on some of my labs she wants me to start using them on Monday to see if I may ovulate - she said based on my history it isn't likely, but my estrogen level seemed to show otherwise, so we'll see what they say. Then if No AF I'll start provera, then start the ultra sounds, femara, HSG and hopefully IUI in August sometime.
