Vacation Ideas

So DD is 1 year, and me and DH have time off that we need to use or lose before the end of the year.

DH is in class 4 nights a week, and DD doesnt isnt the best traveler(by car)... OH and we have a little extra cash but nothing to go too crazy with... any family friendly, short 4/5 day getaways that are a reasonably-inexpensive ideas that are semi close to the DC metro area?

    we are going to the Rocky Acre Farm in a few weeks for a few days. A friend recommended it to us and it gets great reviews on tripadvisor. I called to see if DD was too young and they gets kids of all alges- they just recommended they be walking. DD loves animals and there is a lot of kid friendly things in the area so we decided to check it out. We have never done anything like this so I am hoping it turns out fun!

    I'm confused. Do you want to go away for 4-5 days or do you want to stay home so DH can go to class at night and have 4-5 day trips?
