After my miscarriage in December I changed to a different doctor in the same office. I have already had several ultrasounds, for which I am very grateful. The last ultrasound I had, the nurse put in my name so when the pictures printed out, lo and behold they said I was 33 weeks and 5 days. HELLO, these delete this stuff from their machines when there is a miscarriage??? I was 11 weeks and 4 days at the time, I didn't really pay attention until I got home and really looked at the u/s pic. Can't wait till I go back so I can tell them.
Re: ultrasound vent
Every time I've had an ultrasound, the tech has asked me what my LMP is...and I just tell her 11/11/09. That is the LMP from this pregnancy. So, whether or not it has old information saved (probably not -- didn't have an ultrasound with my 1st pregnancy), she must overwrite it.
I'm sorry that you have to see that, and I hope they are able to correct it quickly and efficiently.
Definitely say something to them.
I had a similar experience when I went in for our anatomy scan for this pregnancy. I was already nervous as hell because it was at our anatomy scan for our 1st pregnancy that we found out the baby had problems. It wasn't until we were half way through the scan that I saw the u/s pics on the bottom of the screen of our little boy we lost back in July. I knew it was them because they had the date posted on them. So there I was, trying to concentrate on this new little bundle and at the same time, being reminded of the precious gift I lost.
I didn't say anything at the time but I kind of wish I had.
