We returned late Saturday from Seattle, where we had a fantastic time, including what amounted to THREE SaIF GTGs! How cool is that?
I've been on SaIF just a small bit in the last couple days, but I've been determined to unpack, etc. Plus, we had a disaster in painting, so that's taken up our evenings. DH came back from our trip 4 days before Kira and I did so he could paint our downstairs hallway/stairwell/upstairs hallway while we weren't here, but when we got back it was purpleish...and DH hadn't noticed so he had kept painting! The paint store screwed up. So now we have no plans to be gone again (I'm super sensitive to paint fumes, including no VOC which this is, plus I'm pg, and Kira is young), and the paint store is even messing up the replacement *samples* now. UGH.
My m/s is officially over, we officially started telling people I'm pg right before leaving for Seattle (most people here still don't know since I haven't been here), and I'm officially gaining a ton of weight in my belly (yay for showing) and elsewhere (darn yummy Northwest food).
My big u/s is tomorrow -- I can't believe it! Fingers crossed for a healthy little one, of course. Any guesses on sex, friends?
The state of my house notwithstanding -- oh, and missing raspberries and salmon and no humidity and decent drivers and Kira's "babysitters" and SaIF GTGs notwithstanding, LOL -- it's great to be back!
Re: I'm back in town, and big u/s is tomorrow!
I know! As you know, it's flies once you're not dealing with -- and constantly posting about -- IF crap and daily rollercoasters any more, LOL. Of course, m/s sucks (I had it straight from 6 to 14 weeks, with a short 3-day break for the NYC GTG
), but it's not in and of itself stressful and definitely not worth posting about, you know?

Yeah, I've had it worse this time. I'm not puking, so I guess I should be thankful...but it's just constant nausea. It sucks. My OB says it's usually worse the second time around because you're not as well-rested, and she says it's worse in the summer because of the heat. Lucky me!
I agree 100% -- totally same experience! I'm still really tired and could benefit from naps, but I was *needing* a nap most days during my 1st tri, and that's not usually the case for me. My m/s, with DD and #2, got worse as the day went on, so mornings varied, but by lunchtime and especially mid-afternoon I felt super nauseous every day. Also no puking, just a lot of gagging! And I'm only 5 weeks off of where my dates fell with DD and that was a super hot and long summer too -- it sucks. But that means I usually stay at home with the a/c so y'all will be seeing a lot of me now, LOL. I'm so glad you're hanging in there -- hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel for you too!

I KNOW! If only we could revert to last Thursday! Of course, I'll go to my u/s tomorrow at 10:00am (that's only 7:00am there, so it wouldn't screw up our plans
), and then I'll revert to last Thursday, hee hee.

You broke the trend! It was 6 girls to 0 boys. If you're right, you'll get the gold star.
And you'll also get questions about boy life (and preparations) after having a girl.
Thanks for the note!

Oooh, two in a row! We'll be swapping clothes then, Skimmy?
Ugh. I think they need to give us free paint (which is a possibility, it seems) and 4 free days in a hotel. I mean, it was PLANNED for him to paint when we were gone those additional 4 days, just like he painted the nursery the portion of the trip I was in Seattle without him 3 summers ago. I honestly don't know what we're going to do! Fortunately DH 100% agrees it needs to be redone, but my chest/head/fetus are not happy about it.
