This is my first cycle on Clomid and I had an u/s on Sunday (CD 12). I had a follie that was 10 and one that was 12. I went back today for another u/s and they were the same size...plus a bunch of little ones. My doctor should call later today, but I'm curious what that means? Will this be another annovulatory cycle since they're not growing, or do I still have a chance?
One of my good friends had her first beta after IVF yesterday and it was negative, so I think I'm just pesimistic all around!
Oh, and my 60 yr. old uncle had his first baby yesterday with his 40 year old girlfriend. ::sigh::
After 3 failed Clomid+TI cycles, DD was conceived with IUI#1
TTC #2
Clomid 50 mg + IUI#1 = BFP, m/c and D&C at 7w1d
Clomid 50mg + IUI#2 = BFN
Clomid 100mg + IUI#3 = BFN
Lupron + Follistim + IVF#1 = 11ER, 10M, 10F, ET of 1 expanded BBA 5-day blast, 2 Frosties. BFP! Beta 10/13 = 264! Beta 10/15 = 702! EDD 6/21/14
Re: Follie question
There is a chance you are a slow responder, but honestly no change over 3 days probably isn't good. GL!
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
Follies usually grow 1-2mm per day. Maybe your dr can put you on a different medication next cycle, if this cycle doesn't work out.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend and your uncle. Both sucky things to deal with!
This and I think the RE may try 50mg for a couple cycles and if no response would suggest to increase the doseage. GL!
