Has anyone had Dr. Muschtaler or known someone who would recommend her? She was great and just had my first appointment, but was looking for someone who had experience with her.
She was the on-call doctor when I was in labor - as I've said on here
before, she was my WORST FREAKING NIGHTMARE as far as my birthing experience could go. She's extremely passive
aggressive, which I can't stand, and she does NOT support natural, drug-free birth (and I enjoyed very much rubbing my successful drug-free birth in her face as they wheeled me past her on the way to my post-partum room!!). I had to tell her to get out of my room and not return - the hospitalist OB was prepared to deliver me if Dr. Cowan hadn't shown up at the last minute.
If you've seen the documentary "The Business of Being Born" - well, let's just say Muschtaler could've been the star of the show!

I have heard very similar things about this doc from a friend who is a L&D nurse.
