Pregnant after a Loss

So I might be a little hormonal. . .

I've been super teary for no reason all day today (well, there are many reasons but none that important really). . . Nathosha brought me those baby clothes and I sniffled. . . and on and on and on today.

Then (And sorry about this, Tosh, because it SUCKS), I came down with a cold literally 5 minutes after I got home.  I went from fine to sneezing & too tired to move in no time at all.

Of COURSE then, it was an excellent idea to go through the baby girl clothes we have left from DD when she was an infant.  I mean, it just makes sense, right?  Because that won't make a girl cry at all. . . especially when her 4 year old and 7 year old find a pacifier and begin playing "who's the biggest baby" whilst throwing punches over the pacifier on top of the piles of neatly folded clothing.

So of course, I went into a puddle of "OMGOMGOMGHOWAMIGOINGTODOTHIS" and "IAMTHEWORLD'SWORSTMOM.ISOTOTALLYSUCKANDAWESOMEPEOPLE TOTALLYDESERVEBABIESMORETHANIDOBECAUSEISCREWEDUPTHE ONESIHAVE."

Oh yeah.  No hormones here.  Nuh uh.

  • Aww hun! I hope you feel better! :(

First of all, you CAN do this. Even though we just physically met today, you're one of the strongest women I know around here! And you deserve that gorgeous baby girl just as much as any of us do!

Second of all, your children sound more and more adorable each time you talk about them - I mean, sure, we all can probably attest to the strange things our parents did to us as a child... but that makes us who we are! YOUCANDOITTTTTT!!

At least your DH didn't wake you up from an afternoon nap FIFTEEN MINUTES IN... yeah... mine did. "HI HONEY!!!!!!!" he screamed walking up the stairs from work... then proceeded to rub on me while I was sleeping to wake me up. His excuse?! "Well, I wanted to see you before I went to work (his second job)"... TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT MY ANGELIC EFFIN' FACE AND MOVE ON BUDDY, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE WOKEN ME UP!

    ha! Anyways, feel better hun!

    Poor emotional grrrrr.

Coming down off of the emotional high of yesterday, I remembered that in addition to being ultrasound day, it was EDD #3.

This *might* have something to do with that too.
