When should I find a pedi?

I have a bunch of recs for pedis but was wondering when I should actually choose one?  I will probably be on bed rest within the next month (although my H could do it).

Did you go in and meet with them?

What did you say when you called?

I'd go ahead and start looking now.  I think we did it around 25 weeks with Stella.  It was easy for us though.  We went with the same pediatrician as my best friend.  We met with him and instantly felt comfortable with him.  I brought in a list of questions and he was happy to sit with us and answer them all. 

When I first called I told the front desk that I was an expectant mother who was interested in having Dr. Dong (yes, that is really his name) be our pedi and could we schedule a visit with him.  They are totally used to it and schedule time in their days for these types of meetings.

I would do it now! Never too early to start! Besides in a few weeks you may just be too tired to do anything! By the time I was 28 weeks I just wanted to stay in bed (with the twins)! I would meet them as well because you might be able to tell right away if you think they are the dr for your babies!
