we have had a sh!tastic 24 hours

DH was at work yesterday. His overseas trip got cancelled. Yay! I then grilled chicken for us for dinner. The grill caught on fire. I thought it was just the drippings on the drip pan, but when I removed it, it was clear that the grill was on fire. I deployed the fire extinguisher for the first time. Scary but I stepped up and took care of it w/o DH. Trhen, today, dh's transmission blew out, he had to get the truck towed and foundout that his trip is back on-to a very dangerous place. And, he had to leave at 3. So - had to leave work early to take him to the airport, meanwhile, he scrambled to take care of his truck and pack. Horrible day for DH. And, he didn"t get to day goodbye to Gianna. That totally sucks. And to make matters worse, I'm so scared for DH on this trip. Oh well. Nothing I can do but pray for his safety and be confidant that he will come home safe. Sorry for the vent, ladies. It was a long day for me.
