I seriously just can't bring myself to do it. Before BFP, I was working out 4-5 days per week. Usually 3-4 runs and 2-3 Bikram Yoga classes. I know I can't do Bikram anymore, but I can't even muster the energy to WALK on the treadmill. I'm just so exhausted by the time I get home!
Anyone else having trouble with this? Any good workout rec's?
Re: Anyone working out right now?
I was like you...5 sixty minute workouts a week -- difficult cardio stuff. Now? Just walking quickly, but not getting my heart rate above 140, as an article suggested for pregos. I would not do my workouts at the end of a long work day either -- I know not everyone can do it, but can you wake up at least 30 minutes earlier and do your run/walk in the morning before work? Just an idea.

I can't speak for my current workouts b/c I totally got out of my routine about 3 weeks before my bfp and need to get back into it. However, when I got pg with DS I was already working with a trainer and it was great b/c I was tired and queasy, but still had to go when I know I would have stayed home if I didn't have that commitment. It taught me that I could workout through those tough weeks and I think it made it easier to continue through 40w until I was on bedrest/induced. Of course the only times I puked (2 or 3 times) were at the gym!
I plan on starting up my cardio classes and some light jogging again in the next couple of days.

I posted a similar thread a few weeks ago.
I, too, am a pretty active runner and aerobic class go-er. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was too exhausted to do anything. I've gradually gained some energy and have started to do elliptical work and aerobics class again. (I'm 7 weeks now.)
I know I can still run at this point, but I'm just too scared that something might happen and want to hold off until the u/s.

Day Three
I was a regular gym-goer up until sometime last month. I find it hard to go to the gym in the summer....and we've been crazy busy.
I really need to gte back to the gym though. I do bootcamp classes twice a week, but I'm not sure if I can handle it now that I'm PG (I have asthma too). I think I may just do step class again and see how bootcamp goes on Thursday and if I can do it.

#2 due July 19th! (It's a boy!)
I used to do a "crossfit" type of workout about 3-4 times a week.
I have kept on working out (when I have the energy) but haven't done jump-roping, jumping lunges, or over-head squats (just doesn't feel right).
I do feel more tired now so I do speed walk (2 min), jog (3 min) for about 20 to 30 minutes. I also do the elliptical trainer. I have continued to do squats, lunges, assisted pull-ups and dips. I haven't done push ups though (even though I used to do burpees before).
Does anybody know if doing ab work (sit ups, etc) is okay for preg. women?
What about doing the spin bike?
I was exactly like you...very fit and healthy...now I can't do a thing. My Dr. said just get through the first tri and then pick it back up slowly and get back to where I can during pregnany.
