what's the best way to pack a pantry with canned/boxed goods and spices? I am trying to use as much before we leave but ultimately there will be dry goods left...tips?
I haven't seen your other post(s) so I don't know the circumstances. For a general move, I'd say just to spread can goods out (they will get way too heavy if you keep them together, even if it's a small box) and keep your spices together. If you already know what all is going from your kitchen, you can distributes all food stuff among those boxes to help fill space and distribute the weight. Anything specific you have a question about?

I'd probably use paper grocery bags put into the plastic (for the handles), or shopping bags with handles, or my reusable bags. Then things are contained, but won't get to heavy.
Are you moving across town or across the country? And are you doing it yourself or is a moving company doing it.
If it's a moving company/across the country situation I'd honestly toss all the canned goods and anything that isn't super expensive to replace. If you can't stomach that thought, then I'd spread them out in several boxes, to keep things from being too heavy, then fill the boxes with kitchen towels/bath towels/pillows. But put a couple layers of newsprint/packing paper and a shieet of plastic or a trashbag in between so that nothing can leak or get the other stuff dirty.
put anything liquid or glass in ziplocs in case there is a spill. do you have re-usable grocery bags? pack the groceries in them and then put them into the big clear rubbermaid totes. that way if the totes are too heavy you can carry the bags. fill the gaps with old t-shirts, rags, plastic bags, towels, anything soft to stabilize it and that you don't mind if it smells like basil or gets covered in tomato sauce. i've moved my pantry several times with no problems. GL!
