Hey ladies! I am scheduled to go in for my follie scan on Wednesday which is CD14. I did Femara CD5-10. When I was charting and not on meds, I Oed on CD14 or 15 with 27 day cycles.
I am concerned that I am going to go in for my scan and be ovulating or about to be. We are supposed to be doing an IUI. Last cycle we did my scan on CD12 and IUI on CD14. I am trying not to panic but worried we are going to miss our window. We are also set up for trigger with possible injects if not responding to Femara. (although I did last month)
Thoughts? I am expecting a call from the nurse today and we are sexing it up just in case. I do trust my RE and nurse, I am just worried.
Re: CD14 - follie scan - help
What is your RE's reason for doing the u/s on CD14?
I would be concerned, too, but perhaps they are just trying to get the u/s closer to ovulation for better results. Can you settle in the middle and go on CD13? That's what I'm doing this cycle (I've done CD12 the past two cycles).
There wasn't any reason that I am aware of. When I got the call with my baseline results she just said you need to come on Wed and we scheduled the time. I took me a while to realize it was CD.
I will ask her when she calls today....
