Story #1:
We took Andrew to the zoo sunday. He is getting more into the animals but really likes to watch the people. he also is fascinted by the carousel music, so I took him for a ride.
I decided to go for the moving ones - figured I'd see how it went and if he didn't like it I'd move to a stationary animal.
He didn't even want to sit on the animal before we got moving. I thought "oh, this'll be interesting.."
Then as the ride starts moving and he goes up & down, his eyes are *huge*.
Then he bursts out laughing.
He did that over and over. It was pretty much the cutest thing ever.
We have it on video but taken from afar so I don't know if you can see or hear well.
Story #2:
We were at a cookout and andrew was playing with an older kid - about 4 years old. He's never been around older kids - only babies and my sister is 14. He *loved* it. The 4 year old was really sweet with him and they were playing peekaboo etc. Andrew was showing the kid his windup car and sharing it with him. They also played a duet on the piano (ha). It was really sweet.
Beth - I bet Jackson will be really sweet with Scarlett.
Re: 2 cute stories :-)
That first story is adorable!
The second one makes me so excited to have this 2nd baby
So cute!
And I'm very excited to see the kiddos together - Jackson looooooves "babies" (in quotes because anyone smaller than him is a baby, obviously!).
He's convinced Scarlett is going to LOVE his toys - I tried to tell him it might be awhile until she's into Buzz Lightyear.
I've noticed that older kids love to come up and play with Jake. Sometimes they get too close for comfort, but it is really sweet to see!
