What time does your LO go to bed?

My friend was coming over last night and while she was waiting for me to call her, she was hanging out with some other friends.  When I called she headed my way so that she could see Gavin before he went to bed.  (He goes to bed around 7:30 every night.)

She told me that one of her friends that she was with said something like "what do you mean he goes to bed at 7 something every night?"  "how do they do that?"  "What time does he get up?"  "Babies don't sleep that long"  

Uh, we put him to bed and he goes to sleep. Gets up around 6:30 or 7 am.  He's not an infant anymore.  My friend said it's because all the ppl she knows are $hitty parents and don't give their kids any schedules.

Soph doesn't go down until 9pm and she sleeps until 9 or 10am.

Gianna goes to bed between 8:30-9:00 and wakes about 7:30-8:00 every morning....

Caroline is usually in bed between 6 and 7 and sleeps until between 7 and 8.

Rowen goes to bed at 9 and he sleeps in until 9.  I'm going to have to change it soon though because school starts Aug 23rd and he has to be there between 7 and 7:30.  But I loved him sleeping in since I've been a stay at home mom.

Briley goes to bed around 8-8:30 if I dint work that day, a little later if I do.

We were in the 9pm-9ish am time frame.  Now since we're here, it's more like 11-11.

We both work M-F so we need to have G up and leave the house by about 7:15.  So even 7:30 at night is kind of late to keep him up and have him get enough sleep.  Although Friday night he didn't go to bed until about 8 and was up at 6:30.  I was not a happy camper!  Jeff and I trade off, he gets to sleep in on Saturdays and I get Sundays  (sleeping in = 8:30)

Kasey goes to bed around 8:30, but she usually sings to herself for about 15 minutes before falling asleep.  She gets up at..... get ready for it.... 5:45AM.  Every.... single..... day.  UGH!

DD 10 pm and DS 11 pm both get up between 8-9 am. Both take naps.  It works for us.

Hayden is pretty religious about her 7pm- 7am schedule.  People are amazed by it for some reason...I don't know any different, though!

If Lil Miss goes down at 9 she sleeps till 8, if she goes down at 10 she sleeps til 9. I prefer the 9 to 8 schedule, but summer activities have been keeping us out and pushed back bedtime.  She takes a 3hr nap in the afternoon.

Gavin takes a 2 - 3 hr nap when he's home as well.  At daycare, it's more like 15 min to a half an hour.  Then he falls asleep in the car ride home and is in a SUPER foul mood when he gets home and woken up.  

However, last Monday they moved the infant room to a different room and now that all the babies are older started putting them on cots for naps.  The first day he took a 2 hr nap!  Unheard of!  All the teachers were so happy.  He kept that up the whole week.  What a difference it made in the evenings...like baby jeckyl/hyde!   Hopefully it's like that from now on!

That is great that G is napping better now!  I know exactly what you mean about the mood difference -- which is why our nap time is sacred!!!
