Ugh, cross your fingers for me. Heavy bright red bleeding can't be good.

UPDATE: I decided to shower before I went, to try and calm down a bit. I then ended up calling one of my nurse buddies who works in the clinic my OB doc is at. Right now the bleeding looks like it was a one time thing, it's stopped, and no clots, no heavy cramps. She recommended I chill in bed for the rest of the day, but if I start bleeding again to go in.

Holy hell this is scary- bleeding in early pregnancy may be common, but that doesn't mean that I can wrap my head around it being a normal thing.

Bleeding is very scary no matter how common it is. Try to relax and I would call your doc on Monday and ask to be seen. {HUGS}

The 5th week was the worst for me so far. Right about when I was where you are, I had a bright red line of blood in my panties. No cramping, no new pains. I sat down with my feet up all night and it went away. The next day, I started peeing out clumps of pink/white mucus (lasted 2 days), so I thought for sure I was miscarrying. My betas were 41,000 and 68,000, so I was reassured that I wasn't. I was so scared that I was miscarrying because the mucus looked like tissue (It had little red lines in it that looked like blood vessels).

Just 2 days ago, I had the mucus coming out again, but it was less pink and more white. I didn't bleed that time, and it only lasted a few hours this time.

I'm not worrying about it because extra thick mucus is normal in pregnancy.
