I am still waiting on a call from the doctor but i would like to know the answer like NOW
bc im impatient like that. anyway....
if you have had to give your infant (or any age child for that matter) pedialyte bc of vomiting and diahrrea...do you start back on formula once the vomiting has stopped after 24 hrs or does both the vomiting AND diahrrea have to stop. Briggs has not vomitted in the past 24 hours but this pedialyte is going straight through him. So im wondering if the diahrrea is being caused by the pedialyte?? anyway...someone tell me what to do. im tired. lol
eta: and im sorry for all the many times i spelled diahrrea wrong ![]()
Re: ok...sooo what do i do?
gosh---I have no idea! I never really followed the no dairy thing---I was breastfeeding the first time he got sick. And then after that he was on rice milk--so didn't really work then either. I would honestly say he should have anything he can keep inside----I can't imagine the pedialyte would cause issue unless he's allergic to a dye or something in there.
I hope he gets better soon and oh......when did he turn 3 mos??! OMG it seems like you just gave birth to him.

Notes:
I know! i cant believe he is 3months already either!!!
i think when he wakes up from his nap i am going to try some formula. the doc said to keep him on pedialyte until he can hold it down. apparently infants can live on that stuff for days...we wouldn't want that...but...that was interesting nonetheless.
