Please help me decide! My OB delivers at both Mission and Saddleback. I would love to hear your experiences to aid in my decision
A little background - I have planned on using Saddleback since I was considering a VBAC (Mission does not allow it). But now it's looking like baby boy is going to be big like his sister. So now I'm leaning back towards the scheduled c-section. My personal friends have not had good experiences at Mission . . . but then I've heard they recently re-modeled and that the rooms are really nice and big, and the food is better.
Thanks!
Re: Mission or Saddleback Hospital - your opinion
I had a great experience at Saddleback!! The staff was so great!!! Food was okay, but not horrible. If I have another, Saddleback is totally by choice all the way!
Good Luck on your delivery!
I tend to be against any establishment with restrictive policy regarding what I'm allowed to do with my body. If you and your OB still think that a VBAC is a viable option (and best of luck to you with it!) then I would avoid somewhere that absolutely will not allow it.
A good friend delivered at Mission about a year ago and didn't have much good to say about her experience. While it did look all pretty and lovely inside, I doubt you'll spend much time checking out the flat screen tv or the wallpaper after your baby is born (or while you're in labor for that matter).
