XP with Sept 10 Moms
has a truck with a small cab (no extra doors - you have to move the
seats forward). We are fairly sure that the car seat will not fit in the
back seat at all, even in the middle, but we are going to try that
first. But, if it doesn't work, where would you position it? KY law only
says rear-facing seat angled at no more than 45 degrees - it does not
dictate that it has to be in the back seat. We were thinking it would be
okay in the passenger seat as long as A) he moves the seat back as far
as possible and
he turns the passenger airbag off (which he can do
with his key). Does this make sense?

DH has a truck as well. We have two fold-down type of seats in the back. The car seat fits behind the passager seat when it is pushed up to the dashboard.
We have a truck with no rear seats at all and we did turn off the airbag and put his car seat in the passenger seat as we had no alternative. Definitely make sure you turn off the airbag!
