Any SAHM's in Macomb County?

I'm usually a lurker on the 3-6 month board but I was wondering if there are any other SAHM's around the Macomb County area?  I'm looking to join a mom's group or form my own.  I have a son who was born March 29, 2010 and he is my first child.  Looking to interact with other people since none of my friends or neighbors have children yet.  We are starting to get bored just hanging out the 2 of us everyday lol.

Have you seen the Macomb Mom's group on meetup.com?  They have a pretty big group of moms and quite a number of activities.  It definitely caters towards SAHMs.  I never did join (all the activities are during the day) so I can't really say much about the people, but can't hurt to try.

Is there any chance that you gave birth at a Beaumont hospital...?  If so, call their parenting program and see if you can still get into one of their mom groups.  They generally form the groups when infants are 3-4 months old and it's a wonderful way to meet other moms whose little ones are your child's own age.

If not, Meetup.com or a MOMs Club are good places to check.

There's going to be a bump GTG in a few weeks (I think on the 25th.) I know a bunch of us on the board are planning to go.It's a good way to meet mommy friends.
