Pregnant after IF

Vaginal pain?

Does anyone else get random vaginal pain? Not just the sharp pain I've come to associate with RLP or "lightning crotch", but sort of dull pain/pressure inside? I don't have any weird d/c (just the normal creamy/clear CM) and no odor, but the past couple of days I've been having this, and I'm just wondering If it's normal.

thanks.

Re: Vaginal pain?

  • I had this on Sunday. After a while I just stopped what I was doing, drank lots of water and laid on the couch for the rest of the day. It bothered me all day but come Monday it was gone.

I also started having this kind of pain about 2 days ago. I just added it to the list of random aches and pains pregnancy brings. Since it's not severe I'm not going to worry about it.

It was normal for me.  I would have days where my vag just hurt - like ached.  Hard to explain.

My Peri said it was normal and not to worry about it unless I had vaginal pain and cramping at the same time or had a change in my discharge.

Thanks. That's what I figured. I'm going to mention it to my peri next week, unless something changes before then.

  • Yup. Early on, it was very sporadic and mostly either when I'd switch positions or when I'd get up from sitting down - then it would go away. Now I have it all the time when I walk. It feels like there is a 12lb bowling ball pulling my crotch down. :( No other issues down there other than this pain. My mw said it's normal. I will tell you, it has gotten very uncomfortable and is probably my biggest complaint of the pregnancy.

  • I will also say this is why I waddle when I walk now...it has nothing to do with the size of my belly and everything to do with my discomfort down there.

I had this with Ella starting at like 18 weeks and it's already started with this pregnancy.
